About the Game

Weird semi-Japanese Fantasy

Taking a new approach to the traditional fantasy genre, the world will combine elements of classic fantasy and traditional Japanese culture, expressed in a style inspired by hand-painted anime films.

Play as a revived corpse and enter an underground temple for a forgotten god - with unfamiliar structures and creatures with a brush of traits from various traditional Japanese monsters. As you explore, you will slowly uncover the past of the hero that you control.

Whether you avenge your own death and take down the mountain god that killed you, or overthrow the king that the hero once worked for is up to you. Perhaps the encounters in this world will change your path...

Gameplay

Fast-paced and smooth, with simple controls to be able to accommodate skill-based play.

Actions will be exaggerated, taking inspiration from combat games such as streetfighter. Player motivation will be narrative, and the game’s pacing will be linear, inspired by Cave Story.

Gameplay will rely on typical fast-paced platformer movement featuring weapons that allow the player to choose between different styles of combat, such as melee and distanced. Weapons can be switched instantaneously and will be limited in how many you can carry at once, to prevent confusion and maintain fast action.
